The Director, Digital will define Dolby’s global digital strategy and oversee execution for our web presence –both dolby.com and other internet properties, including optimization of global sites, internal and external app development and content on partner sites – to ensure we are achieving maximum impact/ROI for brand and business objectives. As the function leader, the Director will focus on expanding how we’re approaching digital presence and content today while overseeing a team responsible for world-class execution of dolby.com and other internet efforts. Reporting to the Executive Creative Director, the Director, Digital will be a key part of the Marketing Studio creative leadership team.

Responsibilities:
- Partners with MBPs and BG leaders to define their online roadmap, ensuring that it is aligned with the overall digital strategy and will achieve quantifiable online business goals and objectives. Recommends and oversees the execution of targeted digital marketing programs to build awareness, create demand, and generate leads for products, services, and solutions globally.
- Plays a lead role (working with MBPs and BGs as appropriate) with Sr. Manager, Digital Marketing in securing partner site initiatives, scoping and executing on initiatives; develops relationships with digital marketers at our partners and customers to drive ongoing opportunities.
- Partners closely with Corporate Communications/PR on social media strategy, execution and content/asset creation.
- Partners closely with Global Field Marketing on design, content and partnership efforts on regional or country specific sites/partner opportunities as well as go-to-market strategies (digital component).
- Manages allocated budget for digital efforts, engaging with outside vendors as needed.
- Educates and inspires internal stakeholders as the subject matter expert in online, digital and interactive marketing strategies and techniques.
- Oversees three-member team responsible for digital content management and dolby.com (system/process design, implementation and ongoing management; procurement of images/external digital content) and partner digital asset development as well as email/online marketing, SEO marketing, metrics, and corporate intranet design/maintenance.
- Drives product roadmap development and execution for dolby.com and other internet properties including ongoing assessment and optimization of site performance and technologies

Qualifications:
- 10+ years relevant marketing experience in the digital realm
- Deep understanding/ knowledge of effective digital strategies, tactics and proven experience managing not only a content-focused company internet site, but also other online properties including placement of content/assets on partner sites globally.
- Experience managing international web presence/sites highly desired.
- Strategic, analytical thinker who can solve problems creatively and leverage our spend/partner relationships for maximum impact. Ability to think broadly and “outside the box” about digital opportunities and execution – including new partner opportunities and app development.
- Strong people management ability, including prioritizing and setting objectives in a fast-paced environment with competing asks.
- Experience managing and integrating email marketing programs to business and consumer audiences. Ability to think strategically and recommend digital solutions to achieve business objectives.
- Expert knowledge of online marketing tools, technology, user practices and industry direction.
- Experience in defining site architecture, layout and navigation in support of user-centric design strategies.
- Ability to thrive under pressure, be diplomatic yet confident in interactions, self-motivated and results-oriented
